What this scam is
You are offered an easy work-from-home data-entry, typing, or processing job that pays well, but first you must buy required training, software, certification, or a starter kit. After you pay, the 'job' evaporates, the materials are worthless, or you are strung along for more fees. Legitimate employers do not charge you to start working. The upfront fee is the entire scam.
What it usually looks like
