What this scam is
You're sold an online course, bootcamp, or 'certification' promising in-demand skills, guaranteed jobs, or big income, often via slick social ads and testimonials. After paying (sometimes financed by a high-interest loan the seller arranges), the content is thin, the 'certification' is meaningless, promised job placement never materializes, and refunds are refused. Verifying accreditation/outcomes, reading reviews, and distrusting guaranteed-income claims are the defenses.
